    My name is Diana (also known as the Galley Wench) and I’ve been baking with sourdough for more years than I want to admit. I’m just getting started into fermenting vegetables, plan to start my first project tomorrow! From what I’ve read Sauerkraut is the recommended for newbies.

    Welcome. Have you started your sauerkraut project?

    If you have any tips for us on making and maintaining a sourdough starter, perhaps you could share in the recipes section here on the forum.

    Yes I started it on January 13, and it seems to be doing great, starting to taste like sauerkraut. Also started a jar of Curtido 5 days ago.

    I’d be happy to help with sourdough starter issues.
